Lord, I come to you tired in a way that sleep has not fixed, and I want to be honest about that instead of pretending otherwise. You already see the weight I am carrying, so I will not hide it from you now. Lord, I bring you this tiredness that goes deeper than my body, the kind that lingers even after rest. I will not be ashamed to say I am worn out. You have not turned away from weary people before, and I do not believe you turn away from me now. I am worn out, and I am not ashamed to say it. I ask for strength that is not my own, and for compassion that meets me exactly where I am, without demanding I explain myself first. Your word says in Isaiah 40:29, “He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength”. Lord, I hold onto this, that you are the one who gives strength to the weak, and I ask you to give that strength to me now. Lord, in the middle of this tiredness I ask for wisdom, not for a plan that fixes everything at once, but for clarity about the next right step. Show me if there is support I need to reach for, or a change I need to consider, or simply permission to slow down. I do not want to keep pushing through in a way that only hides the exhaustion instead of addressing it. Help me trust that seeking help, whatever form that takes, is not a failure but a wise response to a real need. And in Luke 10:41 your word says, “you are anxious and troubled about many things”. Lord, you see the many things pulling at me, so help me discern what truly needs my attention and what I can set down. Lord, I hand you this weariness and this uncertainty together. I do not know exactly how strength will come or what step is wisest, but I trust you are near me in both the tiredness and the search for a way forward. Keep meeting me here, honestly, without shame. In Jesus’ name, amen.
