Lord, there is a decision in front of me, and I do not want the easy answer. I want the true one. I want wisdom more than I want relief from having to choose. Father, help me see this decision clearly. Show me which path is faithful and sound, not just which path is comfortable. And when I see it, give me courage to actually walk it, even if it costs me something. I do not want to just know the right way. I want the strength to choose it. Your word says in Colossians 1:9, “that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding”. Lord, fill me with that kind of understanding, the kind that knows your will and not just my own preference. And Lord, while I wait for clarity, keep me steady. Some of this will stay unclear for a while, and I need peace that does not depend on having every answer yet. Meet me in the not knowing. I bring my questions right to you, not from a distance, but close. And in Hebrews 4:16 your word says, “draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy”. So I come close now, Lord, not staying at a distance with my uncertainty, but bringing it right to you. Lord, direct my steps even as I make my own plans. I want wisdom more than I want it to be easy. Steady my heart while I wait, and give me courage when the way becomes clear. In Jesus’ name, amen.
