A prayer is taking a while

The plan is prepared first, followed by the full prayer and narration. Audio can take longer the first time; later plays use the private cached copy.

My prayers are on one device

Guest prayers stay on the device where they were created. Depending on your device, sign in with Apple, Google, or email when you want encrypted backup and access on another browser or device.

I shared the wrong link

Open the original prayer, choose Share, then turn off the link. The shared page will stop working. A recipient never needs an account to listen while a link is active.

Report or remove something on Open Pew

Open the request's menu in the app to report it or block its author. If it is your request, the same menu lets you delete it immediately. Reports are saved before we are notified, so a temporary email problem does not lose them. We aim to review reports involving immediate danger or exposed personal details within 24 hours and other reports within 48 hours.

If an automated check stopped your own request and you think it was a mistake, email us with the approximate time and the decision shown in the app. Do not paste the request itself into the email. Nobody monitors Open Pew requests in real time, so contact local emergency services or a trusted person now if someone may be in immediate danger.

You can also appeal if a moderator removed your request or suspended your Open Pew access. Email us from the address on your Prayer Pew account with the approximate date and the action you are appealing, but do not paste the prayer request. We will review the report and decision metadata we retained. Removed request text is erased rather than kept for an appeal, so a removed post cannot be restored; if the decision was wrong, we can lift an Open Pew suspension and you can submit a new request.
