Do I need an account?
No. You can create, hear and keep prayers in this browser without signing in. Sign in only when you want encrypted backup and access on another device.
What can I do for free?
Create 2 new personal prayers each week and return to every prayer you have already made as often as you like. Read the passages behind your prayers in WEBPB (World English Bible, British Edition). Plus removes the weekly limit and adds every companion and the longer prayer formats. Read the passages behind your prayers in NIV, NKJV or NLT.
Is what I share private?
Your prayer is private by default. The words you submit are sent securely to the services that prepare the prayer and narration, but nothing is shared with another person unless you create a sharing link.
How is Scripture chosen?
Prayer Pew selects from an indexed 66-book World English Bible corpus. The exact passages used in the prayer are shown afterwards, with links so you can read each one in context.
Can I change what Prayer Pew understood?
Yes. Before the prayer is written, you can review the heart of what was heard, the prayer points and the Scripture selected. You can also edit the finished prayer words before listening again.
Who are the prayer companions?
They are original synthetic voices made for Prayer Pew, with different tones and prayer styles. They do not imitate a real pastor, priest or public figure.
Can I share a prayer without sharing my request?
Yes. An unlisted prayer link contains the finished prayer, Scripture and prayer points, not the original request or editable plan. Scripture artwork contains only the verse and Prayer Pew branding.
Does this replace praying with a pastor or someone I trust?
No. Prayer Pew is a devotional companion for moments when words are hard. It is not a replacement for a church community, trusted human support, professional care or emergency help.
You do not need the perfect words.
