Prayer text
Lord, I come to you without pretending today. I do not know exactly what I want, and I am tired of acting like I do. I would rather be honest with you than say words I do not mean. I bring you my uncertainty just as it is, unfinished and unclear. I do not want to force an answer before it is real. Meet me here, in the not knowing, and let me feel your patience instead of pressure. Your word says in Psalm 37:7, “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him.” I want to rest in you instead of forcing my own answer. Teach me what it means to wait patiently for you. Give me steadiness while I wait, and wisdom to notice what actually matters to me. I do not need every answer at once. Teach me to trust the slow unfolding, and to trust you with the parts still unclear. Thank you for meeting me in the middle of my uncertainty instead of waiting for me to have it all figured out. I rest in you while I wait. In Jesus’ name, amen.
