Lord, I come to you tired in a way that is hard to explain, carrying something I have stopped mentioning to anyone. You already know its weight even though my mouth has gone quiet about it. I do not have to find the right words before I am welcome here. God, like a woman who once stood before you with a heart too heavy for speech, I bring what I am holding, even the parts I cannot yet form into sentences. You know what I carry, even when I cannot say it aloud. I ask for sustaining strength for today, not because I have figured everything out, but because you have not forgotten me in this. Meet me gently in the tiredness, and hold what I am too weary to keep explaining. Your word says in 1 Samuel 1:15, “but I poured out my soul before the LORD.” Lord, I bring what is unspoken and pour it out honestly before you now. Lord, I do not know if or when I will be ready to speak this to another person, and I ask you not to rush me. But I do ask for wisdom, for eyes to recognise someone trustworthy if and when the time is right, someone whose presence would spur me toward love and good things rather than more silence. Until then, keep me close to you, and let me not carry this as though I carry it entirely alone. And in Hebrews 10:24 your word says, “Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works.” Give me wisdom for that kind of company, Lord, when the time is right. Thank you for staying near even in what stays unspoken. I trust you with the burden, the tiredness, and the timing of what comes next. In Jesus’ name, amen.
