Prayers for anger and bitterness
You are allowed to be angry in prayer. Scripture is full of people who were. These prayers say it rather than tidying it away.
Maybe it is a person. Maybe it is a company, or a consultant, or a relative who said one sentence four years ago and has never thought about it since. You have won the argument in the car, in the shower, at two in the morning, and winning it has never once helped.
Anger is tiring to carry and worse to hide. Church can make that harder, because somewhere along the way you picked up the idea that a serious Christian would be past this by now.
So none of what follows asks you to be calmer than you are. Some of these prayers ask for help. Some just say the thing out loud. Start with whichever one is nearest to what is actually happening in you.

When you are still shaking
It has just happened. Your chest is tight, your hands are not steady, and you have not decided yet what you are going to do about it.
Before I say anything at all
My hands are shaking and my mouth is faster than my head. Keep it shut for ten minutes, God. I will still be angry in ten minutes and that is fine, but I would rather be angry with the door closed than out here doing damage.
Telling you what happened first
This is what they did. This is what it has cost me. I am not going to soften it for you, because you were in the room and you saw it. I am telling you before I tell anyone else, so that I tell it once without lying.
