Lord, I come to you with a day that is bigger than I can do well. I feel stretched, and I do not know where to start. Slow me down enough to pray. God, there is more on my list today than I can do well. Show me what matters most, and help me let go of what can wait. I do not want to treat everything as equally urgent. Give me honesty about what is truly mine to carry today, and the freedom to set the rest down without fear. Your word says in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness”. Lord, turn my heart toward what matters most, and order my day around it. Father, I am weary, and I have limits. Give me grace to work within them without being ruled by guilt or urgency. When the pressure rises, quiet me. Give me a clear next step, and wisdom to make each decision with peace and honesty. Help me do one thing at a time, and do it well. And in Psalm 127:2 your word says, “It is vain for you to rise up early, To take rest late”. Father, free me from striving and guilt, and give me rest and steady strength within my limits. Thank you for hearing me. I put this day in your hands, and I ask for a steady heart as I begin. In Jesus’ name, amen.
