Read a little. Make room to pray.
After reading, pause over one sentence. Tell God what it brings up for you, or let us help you find the words.
A verse and a prayer for today
Alongside your plan, return to the daily verse and the prayer grounded in it. Read the chapter and share the words with a friend.

Which Bible reading plan should I start with?
If you are new to the Bible, the four Gospels offer a focused starting point: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John tell the story of Jesus. Our default spreads their 89 chapters over 30 days. You can choose more or fewer days.
Can I make a Bible reading plan for a year?
Yes. Choose the whole Bible and 365 reading days. This plan covers the 1,189 chapters of the 66-book Protestant Bible in book order. Each day has three or four chapters, with direct links to read them.
Is this a chronological reading plan?
No. It follows the Bible’s book order and spreads chapters as evenly as possible. Chapters have different lengths, so equal chapter counts do not mean equal reading time.
What if I miss a day?
Pick up where you left off. The dates give you a schedule, not a test. You can print your plan, check off completed days and continue at your own pace.
Is the reading plan free to download?
Yes. Create, read, print and download the plan without an account or email address. Browser checkmarks stay in the current tab; your PDF is yours to keep.
